Poster design for a ghost-themed sword. This sword is #15 in a set of 31 fantasy/DnD designs. An origin story is included in the design, and meant to be a collectible print.
I wanted to use frames and gridwork in this piece. The arches reminded me of windowpanes and architecture, which influenced my final decisions when considering the negative space, and worked well in the paranormal theme. The hero prop was designed with a lore of ghosts and possession in mind, so I wanted to work the motif of hands from the prop into the layout as well.

Inspired by70s and 80s themed horror posters, I was also influenced by frasurbane design when I considered the sword as a hero-prop, having just as much hierarchical importance as a figurative subject.

This poster design is character-focused with the aim of portraying dynamic, bold shapes and typography. The central character and motorcycle illustration (background) are assets I separately designed and then composited together here.
Initial and final thumbnail sketches. When considering additional character poses (bottom), ultimately I decided it would take away from the action of the character, and I decided to bring dynamic energy back into the piece with the motorcycle illustration in the negative space of the background.

Typography

When approaching the typography, I considered the context of the character, which is a sci-fi action genre. Fonts were chosen for a technological, digital and space-age feel, that translated well as could be seen in a database.

Poster design for a fictional wine brand, Vintner Clasico.
Design breakdown

For the poster design, I wanted to utilize imagery from both classical/traditional and modern influences. When brainstorming, I thought of Italy due to its notoriety with winemaking, then Rome, and traditional elements associated with them, such as such as architecture and sculptures. I also considered modern tie-ins with color, iconography and illustration.
Initial and final thumbnail sketches. In the final poster design, I decided not to include the architectural facade in the green background, as I felt it crowded the composition and lost readability.

I photographed a model and created a baseline and Double exposure shots. The layout and Double Exposure concept was intended to be versatile for a spread or campaign with a focus on identity, balance, personalization, or other such concepts.
The layout thumbnails have "cutouts" over the eyes (both) and shoulder (right), and are intended show the unblurred/effected baseline model photo for a client's potential "reveal" needs.

Assets for Dungeon Craft Collect, a platformer game I created during Indie Game Academy. Game can be viewed here: Dungeon Craft Collect

The game is a collectible platformer, where the player receives a mission, encounters an enemy, collects items, and traverses the game environment to get to the end goal.

Win Screen
By collecting all the Collectible assets and reaching the end goal, the player will have enough material to Craft a Wand for future levels. If they can craft the wand, they successfully beat the level.

Fashion sketches for my plant-themed sorceress headmistress. I pulled inspiration from vintage fashion in different eras to explore the aesthetic: avant garde, 1890s, 1920s, etc.
